Shawn Purcell, a Technician at Tidewater Equipment in Tifton, Georgia, is the recipient of the Episode 9 Eagle & Wrench giveaway.

“I first became interested in being a technician at a young age. It started as a hobby that evolved into a career out of high school. I started in the automotive industry, and it progressed from cars and trucks to big trucks, and then to equipment. I’ve worked on various types of equipment through the years, but when I moved to south Georgia, I decided to try out working on farm and construction equipment full time. I came to Tidewater…and I’ve found to enjoy working on the various types of construction equipment CASE offers. What keeps me at my dealership is the group of people I work with.  I like the mom-and-pop vibe…while the company is growing the vibe hasn’t changed, and they have offered so much help with training and allowing me to grow as a technician. I’m very grateful to be a part of it. My favorite part of being a technician is the satisfaction of finding and correcting issues, especially the complex issues and learning how and why something works the way it does. My best advice I can give to others is to always be willing to learn.”

Congratulations, Shawn, and thank you for being a CASE Technician!
